Les Anglais aiment tant la France…
On tombe parfois sur des textes qui font sourire. C'est le cas de celui-ci que j'ai trouvé dans un petit article de David Hume sur le commerce (Of the jealousy of trade) : "not only as a man, but as a BRITISH subject, I pray for the flourishing commerce of GERMANY, SPAIN, ITALY, and even FRANCE itself." J'adore cet "even France." Rappelons que David Hume est mort en 1776, bien avant, donc, Napoléon…
